Block Letters For the Win
Block letters are an easy way to add that extra special touch to your décor! After reading this easy 2 step tutorial, you are going to be using block letters ALL over your house!
You will need 5 things for this DIY project & if you are a crafty person you may have some of these items lying around!
1. block letters whether you are spelling a word or using initials. You can find individual letters here & here.
2. Modge Podge. This can be found at any store with a craft section
3. Scrapbook paper of your choice. This can also be found at any craft store. My favorite is Hobby Lobby!
4. Foam paint brush
5. Scissors
Step 1 - Trace your letter on the back of your scrap book paper and cut it out.
Step 2 - Using your Modge Podge and foam paint brush coat the back of your cut out letter and apply it to your block letter. Let the modge podge dry and you are ready to decorate away!
#DesignerTip - If you are using a 3 dimensional block letter you can cover all sides with scrap book paper using the technique above OR you can cover the front face of the letter & paint the other sides a fun color! I did the paint version on my guest bath XOXO letters. Photos below!
